To kick off spring break, Gaje Petersen, Ryan Barglof, and Alyssa Moody (pictured above) represented our school at the Special Olympics State Basketball competition in Iowa City. Each student qualified for this event in February by competing in dribbling, spot shot, and passing.

They competed against athletes from across the state and all returned home with medals. Gaje earned 3rd place in his division, while Ryan and Alyssa both secured impressive 2nd place finishes. There was strong competition this year, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.

We look forward to continuing their success as we head into the track season in April.
